Courses Summer 2007
Seminar: Interaction & Communication. Soft Skills for Computer Scientists
IT experts spend a considerable amount of time organizing, communicating and managing. So technological expertise only is not sufficient for computer scientists nowadays. In this course we deal with different aspects of interaction and communication. We will analyse and train effective communication and argumentation skills, confident presentation of facts, aspects of good team work and structured project planning. We will also take into account the increase of virtual and intercultural co-operations in work life.
This course is organized as seminar and practical training. In the seminar we choose a more theoretical approach to the issues while in the practical training we want to train your personal skills. Continuous and active participation is expected.
The seminar will take place as "block seminar". The dates will be arranged on the first meeting. Personal enrolment is expected.
